These boots seem to keep my little one's feet warm and dry but they are very difficult to put on. My child wears a size 9 and I ordered a size 11 and the area where the ankle sits feels very very tight and it is difficult for him to fit his foot into the insole of the boot. I recommend ordering a few sizes larger. If they are too big, simply stuff your toes with cotton to keep your feet in place and keep you warm. Will I order again? Yes, but I would order a few sizes larger.

I was looking for some reasonably priced snowshoes for my kids as we live in California and will only use them a couple of times during the winter months when the mountain comes next to us snow. They kept my kids feet warm and dry. I would say they are not for deep snow. I find the bottom layer that runs all over the shoe waterproof, but the top of the foot down to the ankle is waterproof. They are colorful (blue and gray striped version), warm, fluffy and easy to dress up. The stiff heel doesn't hang around my little one's foot like some boots do - it's wide enough for a wide foot and thick toe to slip in and out without much wrestling.
