My 5 year old has tiny feet. She wears a size 9 for toddlers and even some size 8s fit her. I ordered them at 9 and they just fit. Luckily I ordered her for vacation so when she grows up it's okay. But yes, if your child is an age-appropriate shoe size, I would take the advice of at least one other reviewer and order at least one size up, if not two. These classic shoes were perfect in so many ways, very shiny black, with an ankle strap, and they looked well tailored. However we had to return them as my daughter's toes rested on the shoe which was uncomfortable and created a small protrusion at the top of the sock. This daughter has average feet, we never had a problem with her shoes. The width was ok and they were true to size. But for some reason they made the shoes very short at the top.

Bought these for our granddaughter to wear another pair of dress shoes on chapel days at school. The fit was great and she said they were comfortable. But when we picked it up after school, this is what the real shoe looked like after just a day of wearing. None of her other shoes have ever worn or worn toes, even with weekly wear and breaks. I will definitely come again.

So here is the Run Down 1- Slim Fit- my daughter is a size 9.5 so I went for a 10. Although she has room for her toes they are a little tight on her because they are narrow. But…. These shoes fell apart and stopped working after my daughter only wore them 3 times. The black coating peeled off the "skin" on the toe, and the sole completely detached from the shoe. She only wore them after the return period had closed, otherwise they would have been sent back. I hope the seller sees this and returns the money. Do not buy!

Yummy. It doesn't look cheap. Comfortable too. He is tall. My girl is 13 years old and depending on the brand she runs small, she is 1 year old in a large child. I ordered 1 and it was snug (my girlfriend has wide feet). I returned 1 and ordered 2 for a tall child and it is fine for a wide child but the length is 2 sizes too big. Since these shoes are adorable I'm going back to the first one I ordered expecting it to be spandex while she uses it.

My daughter is a size 10 and a size 11 but the 11 we ordered was too small and snug on the foot when that size was supposed to fit perfectly or even a little big.

The shoes are cute but I am not happy with how I received them. They have scratches and glue/glue residue. They arrived today and I needed these shoes for Friday. I don't like that the shoes themselves don't have a size number anywhere as I can be sure I got the size I ordered.

My daughter wore these shoes for her private school uniform for a week before they quickly started falling apart. They're cute and fit her perfectly, but she doesn't handle her shoes roughly at all, and the toe immediately started coming off. Less than two weeks into school I got a message home saying she needed to change her shoes!

This is great if you're looking for shoes that will survive a night out as a flower girl. However, I didn't expect this shoe to last much longer and still look good. They weren't very high quality but looked just like the picture and were comfortable enough for my two girls aged 4 and 6.

This was the second pair we bought...it grew from the first. This is the perfect shoe for a business suit. Very comfortable and looks great with dresses. Would buy and buy again

We needed white shoes for one of our daughters outfit. They matched her winter clothes perfectly. Also bought in red for another outfit!

We really liked the look for my fourth grader, unfortunately they fell apart after three weeks. The sole is completely torn off.

The shoes are the same as in the photo but run small so I recommend ordering one size up especially if you don't have time to stretch them.

Cute simple black shoes that are easy to wear. Not a casual shoe as there isn't much support, but they go well with a dress for a few hours.

Cute but too big I would say go down a size. This will fit my baby in about a year so I'll put them in the closet. There is also no bow support. My child is a size 11 and they were 12/13.

My daughter wears an 11 in Oldnavy and Target so I ordered 11. Fits great. She has a narrow foot, they perfectly fit her leg with little space. So tights or socks are perfect. If you have a fat foot they will be too tight, they are very narrow. The quality looks great!
