Novogratz Globe 2 Light Double 12976 Review

I wanted a lamp for my desk that wouldn't shine in my eyes but would still provide good light for my paperwork. Not only does it do everything, but it is really beautiful. Ordered a brass version. It's quite heavy and the hardware seems to be of good quality. Couldn't be happier with him!

I was about to order bedside lamps for almost 10 times the price and thought why don't you try them out first. I'm so glad I did because I love her so much. The chain makes it so easy to turn on and off without getting out of bed and the brightness is perfect for the bedroom. I plan to buy more for my guest rooms.

This is not only beautiful, but one of the very few lamps that uses two 60 watt incandescent bulbs, providing great light for my desk. So many lamps only use very low wattage bulbs – guess what? I NEED A LIGHT TO SEE! It's also a very charming retro design, takes up very little space and loves pink - very unusual and looks amazing. I couldn't be happier - oh and the price is pretty low. It arrived within three days. I'm happy.

I bought this lamp in August 2019, so I've had it for almost 1.5 years. I love it! It's strong, light, easy to assemble and use. The brass color is very beautiful. My only complaints are that (1) (if you're a perfectionist) the finish of the lampshade is slightly streaked (uneven), which to my knowledge is probably impossible to prevent, and (2) the ends of the pull chains are slightly discolored. time through normal use only. I emailed them to see if I could get replacement chains.

But . . . Since the "shades" are made of the same metal as the lamps, no light can pass through them. Too bad I didn't send mine back as I just don't know where to put them as they don't work to light up my living room like I was hoping. To use them as reading lights you have to make sure they are positioned higher than where you sit with a book, which makes my bedside tables unbeatable. sorry really. I bought this lamp for my new office (Rose Gold/White/Grey) so this lamp goes well with the rest of the decor in my office. It's very easy to assemble, you need regular bulbs, so don't bother. Unfortunately, since the lampshade is made of solid metal, it doesn't give off as much light as I had hoped. This lamp is almost exactly what I was hoping for, except for one thing - the brushed brass shade is an odd green. If you have other brass, real or fake, in your home, it most likely doesn't match, so be aware of that. I like it anyway, just wish it was more of a real brass color. I'm thinking about spraying it or trying to polish it or something but I'm afraid it will just ruin it. I'll probably just leave it somewhere else in a Black Metal room so it doesn't clash.
