No problem: outdoor stairs and steps

Easy installation, problem solved, now my step goes in and out as it should. Zippers last so long! Excellent turnaround time. Thank you!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons

Not an easy installation.

There wasn't a drop of substitute for every route. It was the same part number as my old one but still had to enlarge the mounting holes, also had to remove the screw for the cover and replace it with a snap fit from my old one. Now it works fine.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad

Replacement of the original device.

This motor was a direct replacement for a worn stepper motor in our motorhome. The part was a perfect fit and the fork was just right for our step. The engine itself seemed more airtight than the one it replaced. After installation we saw that it got quieter.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results

Great price in steps

Looks the same. But we had to enlarge the mounting holes to install it. First, the spacing between the holes is hardly balanced. Second, the actual pitch of the teeth on the drive gear seemed wrong. Due to two problems we had to enlarge the holes. After a few lengthening/breaking in everything seemed to work.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Functionality

Saved $200 on outdoor stairs and steps

Everything I've read talked about replacing my obsolete ladder with a brand new system because it's obsolete (2002 Fleetwood Discovery). Granted, the gearing on this one wasn't perfect (very close). With some lubrication and perseverance (maybe a hammer) it went and works great after a few months! They want almost $400 for a new motor and wiring harness assembly.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Little repairability

Want to save $25-$50?

Perfect fit and easy to assemble. The savings are big. UPDATE: The part must be DEFECTIVE! It worked for ONE DAY and stopped working during our trip out of state. Now our local dealer is installing a new one. We missed the window to return the item because the window closed on us a month ago. Here are the savings we thought we had. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Garbage. The holes don't match

After spending several hours under my van fitting them I finally removed the steps. Holes do not match. I then had to drill holes and insert longer bolts and nuts. I've changed them before and the correct motor runs with no problems. I would return it but I have a trip this weekend and I had to have it. Don't buy them unless you want to work on your steps for hours and then change them up.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
