I could have bought for $20 less but I read the bad reviews so I decided to pay more after reading the great reviews for this suit. My 7 year old son is 52 inches 63 pounds and is a bit tall with thick legs and butt. Fits him perfectly. Love the fit and look of this swimsuit. The only thing I don't like is that the fabric started to "fluff" and rub in places immediately after wearing it for the first time. This should definitely not happen after wearing it once! But so far it doesn't affect the seams or the swimsuit itself. I read other reviews and bought a size up. Update my rating to reflect 5 stars. I ordered a size 6 for my 4.5 year old who wears a size 4 or 5. Normally I would have ordered a size 5 but only even sizes were available. It was a little baggy, but much better than being uncomfortably tight. Now they wear them for two seasons. These bathing suits have been in the waters of the Dominican Republic, the Dead Sea and in our pool almost every day during the summer.
