I could have bought a rip less for $20 but I read reviews about poor quality so I decided to pay extra after reading great reviews of this suit. My 7 year old son is 52 inches and 63 pounds and is a bit tall with thick legs and butt. Fits him perfectly. Love the fit and look of this swimsuit. The only thing I don't like is that the fabric started to "fluff" and rub in places immediately after wearing it for the first time. This should definitely not happen after wearing it once! But so far it doesn't affect the seams or the swimsuit itself. I read other reviews and bought a size up. Updating my rating to reflect 5 stars. I ordered a size 6 for my 4.5 year old who wears a size 4 or 5. Normally I would have ordered a size 5 but only even sizes were available. It was a little baggy, but much better than being uncomfortably tight. Now they wear them for two seasons.
