Description of πŸ”© NSK 6202-10ZZ Shielded Radial Ball Bearing with Clearance for Improved Rotation

Deep-groove geometry for high speeds and supporting both radial and axial loads. Single-row bearing for supporting radial loads. Normal radial internal clearance for applications that do not involve thermal expansion or atypical precision. Pressed steel cage evenly spaces the balls for even load distribution and prevents contact to reduce friction, vibrations, and noise. Shields on both sides of the bearing to keep lubricant in and contaminants out.

Best Bearings for Smooth Rotational Operation

Industrial and Scientific revolutionized with this product. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I found the perfect bearing for my gear design needs. The bearings are reliably quality, highly accurate and cost effective. They provide a smooth rotational motion with minimal noise and friction, extending the life of my equipment. The product is ideal for industrial, scientific and automotive applications. My only concern is that they are a bit heavy and may add some weight to the machine.

Pros
  • High-quality materials and construction for durability and longevity
Cons
  • The shielding may wear down over time and reduce effectiveness

Works great with bearings

Used to replace a failed bearing on an old Craftsman drill press. So far it's working great and solved the spindle problem I was having.

Pros
  • Ball Bearing
Cons
  • So far so good

I bought these naively thinking the bearing was a standard size.

I bought these because I naively thought the standard bearing size was standard. Little did I know that standard 6202 bearings have a 15mm bore and my Shopsmith needle specifically required a 5/8" bore. After buying the first set I ordered them and they work great. It's weird to measure something in both metric and standard units. Whatever the case, I'm new to this and probably should have done more research before jumping off the gun to another camp.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • unreliable
