Too small for most bars

You get what you pay for. Too small for a 7/8 bar gas pipe. Not long enough to replace most stock grips without moving the controls. Will return. This is probably the tenth set of knobs I've replaced, I'm not new to this.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Volume

CALL ME CRAZY!: Controls

The description says the handles are CNC machined aluminum. Well I must have had bad pencils because mine were ALL plastic! There was no aluminum at all - the ends of the bars were black plastic. They look pretty, but they will never last long. Buyer Warning.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Doubtful

They need modification

Grips are good but whoever made them has not ridden a motorcycle. The ends are held by the grips, not the grip itself. My bike was crooked and I wanted to grab it but the end came off. I replaced it with a real end cap and now everything is fine.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • old

Great grips, not always compatible with handlebar weights.

I absolutely love these groupsets other than the fact that I had to remove the fatal swing weights from the handlebars to install them. Luckily my bike doesn't wobble even with the weights removed. I don't know whether my bike has become a bit trickier.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing here

Something to wear

You might say they aren't that great quality but for the money you can't go wrong. Just a cheap throw-in kit. They're not that comfortable, but what do you expect for the price. If you need a set of pens, they will do it for you. But if you want convenience, spend more $. The rubber is quite soft and flexible. Stubs are useless/incompatible.

Pros
  • Nice to wear
Cons
  • No instructions

Modifications may need to be made to fit properly.

I ordered three grips for my Ninja 400. These grips offer better feel than the standard grips, but you will need to modify them to fit properly. The so-called integrated ends of the rods must be removed by cutting them off with a razor. They are held in place by a thin piece of rubber that is easy to cut. It takes a little effort to install them properly. Using grip glue will help and position them correctly.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Clueless
