NUSET RV042 White Electrical Cable Review

Perfect fit for an RV. The lock was taken out of the old one and put in the new one, so the keys are still the same. It's a squeak like all van stuff, but it should last just as long as the old one.

Installed today mine looks and works great replacing small round cord storage boxes and the door was broken and long lost. Also, I installed a generator and needed a larger cubby to fit my 30 amp plug in the door

Does the job but has a few minor flaws. The largest of them is the castle. The key doesn't turn easily in the lock and I wonder how long it will take for something to give way.

This door is very thin and I am afraid it will break soon. There must have been something in there, but I'll be replacing it at some point in the near future. I would not recommend this product but I don't have another product that I like better.

Works great. The door is flat. The side wall of our camper is corrugated. It works great, but it took a little while to install properly. If our side had been flat he would have set up in no time.

Looks good but the thin plastic door on mine is actually cracked almost breaking the lock on the door. They work well but be careful they are not strong or durable. The lock comes with keys, they work well, but the door can be bent and opened without a key, or unbolt the bolt, so it's not very 'secure', but it doesn't let curious people easily peek in and prevent theft.

It doesn't seem to matter what brand these compartment doors are, they fail after 4-5 years here in the Southern California smog. The plastic becomes brittle and the door hinge breaks. My caravan is outside, but the electric door is never in direct sunlight. At least these doors are not very expensive and easy to replace.

I bought this because I was breaking the door on a 1998 Coachmen Catalina RV. I've never changed either of these before, but it was surprisingly easy. All the screw holes matched up so all I had to do was take a nylon pry bar and pry out the old one after removing the screws. I cut the frame with a utility knife to keep the paint or fiberglass(?) away from the RV's bodywork. She was wrong right away. Before inserting, I coated the frame with some sealant.
