milk chocolate with caramel received. To put it mildly, I don't like milk chocolate so I wanted and ordered dark chocolate. I realized it was milk chocolate when I opened the box and tried one. It didn't taste good. They were within acceptable limits when I tried one, but I think they were stored in a hot place, they tasted a bit harsh. I gave them away because I opened the box.

I have purchased these poles 8-10 times from the same seller. I obviously like them and appreciate the value per gram of protein. However, this batch is dry, stale and hard, although the bars are best dated 2/19/20. Now this is the case for about 20-30% of shipments. The bars are excellent when they're fresh, but very poor when they're not, and the ratio isn't moving in the right direction at the moment.

the price goes up every month. Up to $4 in less than a month! $10 per year per box. Dark chocolate crumbles and makes a mess. God it tastes good and I think the fiber helps calm my gut. But the quality control for this flavor is poor, and the bars keep shrinking. I often had stale bars with torn packaging. right at the bar. I wish they could control the quality, price and availability. Otherwise I would give 4 or 5 stars.
