Description of Enhance Your Development Experience with the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit

The NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX developer kit includes a power-efficient, compact Jetson Xavier NX module for AI edge devices. It benefits from new cloud-native support and accelerates the NVIDIA software stack in as little as 10 W with more than 10X the performance of its widely adopted predecessor, Jetson TX2. The capability to develop and test power-efficient, small form-factor solutions with accurate, multi-modal AI inference opens the door for new breakthrough products. Developers can now take advantage of cloud-native support to transform the experience of developing and deploying AI software to edge devices. Pre-trained AI models from NVIDIA NGC, together with the NVIDIA Transfer Learning Toolkit, provide a faster path to inference with optimized AI networks, while containerized deployment to Jetson devices allows flexible and seamless updates. The developer kit is supported by the entire NVIDIA software stack, including accelerated SDKs and the latest NVIDIA tools for application development and optimization. When combined with Jetson Xavier NX, this powerful stack helps you create innovative solutions for manufacturing, logistics, retail, service, agriculture, smart city, healthcare and life sciences, and more. Ease of development and speed of deployment—together with a unique combination of form-factor, performance, and power advantage—make Jetson Xavier NX the most flexible and scalable platform to get to market fast and continuously update over the lifetime of a product.

The perfect portable solution for mechanics

I've always been looking for a portable solution that can be used for gaming, setup and on the go. My wife surprised me with the latest look and gave me this iron. I don't use it for AI or robotics applications and mainly use it for fun and productivity. What it does well: - Moonlight works perfectly (with the right controller) - It has a very good network card - Retro emulation, the Jetson Xavier NX is a beast when it comes to emulation and can easily handle some of the most demanding GameCube

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is good

Wonderful! Minis on Desktops

This device is of amazing quality! It has the monstrous performance of an enthusiast-level device at a consumer-level price point. I really love it!

Pros
  • Annual Trial Period
Cons
  • Periodicity

It's hard to give a good review.

First of all, I don't think it's a hardware problem, but this is where you buy a development environment. The documentation is terrible and NVIDIA tutorials often don't work and you have to search the internet for working third party documentation to do basic things like NVIDIA's own tutorials. Get ready to see surge alerts! a lot of. Yes, with the supplied power adapter. NVIDIA's downside in this product line is that absolutely every step becomes painful and time-consuming for a new AI mimic…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works out of the box with Jetpack 4.4

I have a couple of Jetson Nanos for AI/DL but they are a bit lacking in frame rates, especially when running two cameras on the Pi V2.1. So I decided to get the Jetson Xavier NX and found that I could double the frame rate using two Pi V2.1 cameras. Slightly more expensive than the Nano, but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • No car

Decent computer with GPU

This unit was purchased to learn OD videos for offline navigation. I use this for learning and my nano for deriving. Works slightly faster than my MacBook Pro laptop. Not as fast as a remote GPU, but good enough for my purposes.

Pros
  • Full set
Cons
  • Empty

Nice little calculator.

Good product. Good guides for getting started with the operating system, developer packs and cameras. Keep in mind that this is a development kit, not something you just plug in and do as you please. But it's a very good development kit. Good job NVIDIA.

Pros
  • Very cheap price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

It works! Minis in desktop computers

Works great! I thought it wouldn't turn on after a few attempts to start it up, but found that my monitor's connection was wrong (HDMI adapter), so I bought the correct $5 HDMI cable. It worked, I just couldn't see how it works. I'm learning now.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
