Pretty but not XL

These were beautiful sunglasses and they are all plastic (acetate) which is what I want. No rubber bands or other nonsense that might fall off. The arms/temples were pressed too tightly against my head and over my ears. You can take them to a sunglass store or optical store to have them fitted but in my experience you can never find the right fit and once you start melting/heating while playing with the glasses you can never get them on right to let. So disappointed because I really wanted to…

Pros
  • Patented High Definition Optics (HDO) delivers superior optical clarity and sharp images from every angle.
Cons
  • Some little things

Best Contrast Lenses (24K Polarized)

After a quick treatment with a heat gun to fit my face I love these glasses with one small note. polarized 24K) are fantastic with one exception. The colors really pop and they are so clear. I'm looking for excuses to wear them, they're so good. The only exception, and this applies to most Oakley lenses, is that they reflect the light pretty damn well. The back reflections make wearing a hat (when you're outside) almost a must, because it's kind of a pain. I'm sure people smarter than me have…

Pros
  • Plastic Frame
Cons
  • Hard to tell

great for sunglasses

I love Oakley sunglasses. I have a wide face and most sunglasses don't fit me. The Holbrook XL fits perfectly, and the Polarize is just an extra icing on the cake. The wood grain is very unique and I really like it. The lens is brown, I like that it doesn't distort the color of the environment I'm looking at too much. This improves color, reduces light and has about 13% VLT. All in all I love it and I will wear it every day. ALSO drive.

Pros
  • Frame for medium to extra large faces
Cons
  • Not sure

I have a hard time paying that much for a pair of sunglasses BUT.

I'm one of those people who can't bring themselves to spend more than $100 on a pair of sunglasses, even though they're an everyday essential. I FINALLY made up and bought some expensive pair of sunglasses, these Oakley Holbrook XL. Let me tell you the quality of the lenses is fantastic. I took them to Hawaii and the prizm polarized lenses brought so much depth and color to the ocean and the landscape itself. I've been wearing Ray Ban aviators (which I love) for everyday use for a few years…

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Damaged

Not exactly XL

Okay, let's be honest. They are XL for small faces and narrow for large faces. They squeeze my temples worse than my Oakley Servo XL Rx goggles and you can see through the black lenses and they feel cheap. The matte black color sucks and as soon as you touch the finish it leaves a stain.

Pros
  • Lens width: 59 millimeters
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

I love sunglasses that fit my head

Unfortunately, I've always had trouble finding sunglasses that go well with a size 8 hat. My son claims they fit me well and the clarity/polarization is top notch. I was surprised to receive the sunglasses in less than perfect packaging (a plain box with a cloth pouch and an instruction manual. You would think that if you were to spend over $150 on a plain plastic pair of sunglasses the presentation would be a lot more expensive. Believe it "that Revain only deals in genuine products as…

Pros
  • Arch: 137 millimeters
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Hallbrook XL Prism polarized not compatible with tinted lenses

My review is about how Oakley Hallbrook XL with Prizm and Polarized affects tinted windows and windshields. I have Oakley Jawbreakers for cycling with Prizm technology and there have been times when I got in the car with them and didn't see the impact I'm getting with the Hallbrook series. With Hallbrook XL lenses I see a vertical color spectrum. I look into my tinted windows. I have both 3M Crystal and 3M Tint. All show either vertical color schemes, i.e. the colors of the "rainbow" arranged…

Pros
  • Cleaning and storage pouch for Oakley sunglasses included.
Cons
  • Exchange Availability
