Oakton pHTestr 30: Ultimate Waterproof Pocket Tester for pH Testing Review

The pH measurement takes a while. I want it to go faster. It takes almost a minute to stabilize and is fixed with PH with an accuracy of 0.01. I needed something with 0.1ph accuracy that could fix the number faster. and also i want it to beep or something to let you know the reading is over.

Typically purchased from Ben Meadows and can get at least 1.5 years from them (regular use for environmental water monitoring). First bought from Revain and we used it about 10 times before it died. Of course also directly in front of the return window! Updated - I managed to get a new one, it turned out to be the same. They did a redesign and it's terrible. We will examine new options.

I like this pH tester. Just dip it in the pH you want to read, wait a few seconds for the reading to stabilize and read the pH on the screen. There's also a hold button so you can press it and freeze the reading. I use it to check the pH in my hot tub. Saves a lot of test strips over time. I also use it to test food and alcohol fermentation projects. Love it. Didn't realize I use it that often, but I do.
