took about 10 minutes to replace. I had to loosen 3 screws and tighten the screw, after that everything worked. This is the second one I've had to install in 5 years, let's hope this one lasts.

Update after 4 months: Fan motor Fan has started making noise and the clicking sound is getting annoying every day. We replaced the previous old motor fan because of the annoying clicking noise, only to experience the same disappointment a good 4 months later.

We installed this fan on our 2016 Scion iM. The fan "works", but not as it should. Once it starts everything is fine. It blows hard and softly. But there is a significant delay before the motor starts, stops and changes speed. Take the factory fade in and fade out latency and multiply that by 10. We did this for our 2018 iM to verify. I recommend spending a little more and getting an OEM replacement.
