This really is great value for money. Use it in my 06 f150, works very well. I watched a video how-to guide for my car and five minutes later a new key fob. Although when I have it in my pocket the alarm button gets stuck a bit so I just step away from the car and the alarm goes off. Otherwise great keychain.

First you pay for the key, then you pay for the cutting, then you pay for the programming. But it doesn't work, so now you've paid for all these things for no reason. Do not purchase this key if you have a 2007 Ford F-150. Basically you just buy a fob and a back door key, it doesn't start the car, it doesn't program the car to start.

Remote programming is easy and works but the problem is the flat key. It is not enough to work in the ignition of the overlay for a long time. The ignition switch has a cap that prevents the key from being inserted into the ignition switch. So if you don't want to cut parts of your truck, this won't work. Wasted money buying that and cutting it to find out it doesn't work. Save yourself some money and skip it

So it's a Mustang key, nothing like a standard F150 key but luckily it will work! Even the dealer was amazed. However, there is a BIG caveat. YES you can cut it, YES you can just program the remote using the method they give you. However, if you want it to actually start your car, it needs to be programmed by Stealership. Mine charged a full hour for the privilege, $130. SO about $160 later I have a spare key.

The remote is programmed fine but the security chip is not programming my 12 year old Mustang so it won't start my car. I've searched the internet and tried different programming methods but none worked. I bought a different but similar "Flip" key from Revain which programmed my car and started it in about 30 seconds. Maybe I received a defective key? I received a quick and easy refund when I returned this product. I liked the red accents which my new one doesn't have.
