Good mid-sized fixed blade knife

The only fixed blade knife I own, everything else in my collection are pocket/folding knives but I like that bad boy. Solid build, sharp blade, sleek design, very durable, and the handle can be a bit small if you have gorilla hands, but other than that, it's another hit from Oerla. Worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Zero

I'm not complaining about the price

The knife is decent, thick and moderately sharp. I ordered a case. Look for one that can be mounted horizontally. The belt clip is a good system. That's what we use for our duty belts, but this particular one is cheap and easy to break. Not impressed by that. If they spent another two bucks and made it stiffer the sheath would be a lot better. Good retention.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Poor instructions

The handle is too small for men's hands

Very good knife, quite sharp right out of the box. Beautiful Kydex shell. However, the belt loop adjusters are completely useless. I literally wore the knife for 15 minutes and took it off my belt. Both spacers are gone. The handle is short, at least for me. For someone with smaller hands this knife would be perfect. Small questions for me. Overall happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Good value but not perfect

Well I haven't used it yet but the day I had it I already had two notches on the blade. Now I cut the ribbon out of the boxes and put the scabbard in and take it out. I don't think I did anything to deserve such a disappointment in this one. The knife is heavy, definitely a good chopper, no, it's uncomfortable in my hand, I don't know if it's too heavy a handle or if it's just a piece of steel in my hand. Overall I'm happy with the knife and the price will certainly do the trick

  • Great for me

I've searched through many knives to find this gem

New favorite. Good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, sharpenability and durability. Batons are large with 1/4 staff. Work well with refractory steel. The Kydex sheath has a snug fit with a thumb tear. I changed the belt loop but can't complain for the price. (replaced by the Workouty brand found on Revain 2 for $10). I like the weight and feel of this knife, but be mindful of the weight when going as light as possible. It's a little rough, but works like a $150 knife. For…

Perfect outdoor EDC kit

I was looking for an EDC knife that can be hidden behind my back. Most of the ones I've tried are too bulky, unbalanced, or the clip system is too awkward to attach and remove from my belt. The size, width and weight of this knife are perfect. I hardly notice it when wearing it. It features a belt clip locking system and the ability to adjust different belt widths to keep the knife from slipping or wobbling. It's razor sharp from the factory and stays well in the sheath no matter how you wear…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some little things

A little heavy - camping and hiking

The knife looks very well made and feels solid, if a bit heavy. It came out sharp, but not quite by my standards. A few minutes on wet rock and steel is all it takes to get where I need to be. Balance and finish are very good. This will be a good addition to my camping gear but can carry more weight than I prefer for EDC. The scabbard is made of hard plastic and fits the blade well. I found the adjustable belt clip to be a bit bulky, but so far it works well. To update. Lowered the rating of…

Overpriced oddball. That's why.

So I have some expensive knives and some cheap knives too. As with most things, you can overspend or underspend, but getting more than what you paid for is always a very pleasant surprise, so I'm always willing to try a new (to me) brand to try. Here I would say that you get less than you pay for. It's more like a ten or fifteen dollar knife from some Chinese source on eBay. The scabbard, as others have pointed out, did not hold the knife at all. Since it's malleable when exposed to heat, I…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • I don't dislike much, everything is fine

Quality blade at wholesale price!

I took some time to write a review to see how this blade performs and to give an honest review of the results. First I would like to point out that my Oerla came in a regular knife box which includes another inner box with the company logo on it and perhaps one of the few times the blade I ordered came in a cut out styrofoam box sized to do so that the blade and scabbard do not jump around during transport. Sometimes it's the little things that stand out, right? The blade smells strong and mine

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
