The mesh seat is uncomfortable.

I bought this because I work from home every day. I've been looking for a chair with a mesh bottom and back for a long time. This chair is not worth the money. I'm 6ft 5in and about 225lbs and the bottom mesh goes so low that the cushion in front of your legrest chair sticks out from under my thighs causing my legs to go asleep/numb. I even sat in it for 2 hours. I can live with the upright nature of the chair, maybe even the non-adjustable armrests. But the extremely uncomfortable seat is a…

Pros
  • Sturdy rug stand with silver inserts and dual casters
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Broken in half - Furniture

I bought this chair a few months ago. The assembly went well, although it would have been better if there were two people as sometimes you have to awkwardly hold onto a chair to put the pieces together. I've used it every day since purchasing it and found it quite comfortable for a mesh office chair. A padded chair obviously offers more comfort, but I love how the mesh keeps you cool in the warmer months. Up until last night my rating for this chair would have been four or five stars. Last…

Pros
  • Synchronized 2 to 1 recline control with adjustable recline force
Cons
  • Safety

Great style good construction

I think for the price this was a great office chair. The construction seems good (haven't used it for many years so can't tell). What I really like are the armrests. I used to have a chair where the rubber arms were held by flat pieces of metal. It ended up digging into the rubber as I rested and put my hands on it. Over the years, he punctured and rubbed the rubber armrests. That's one thing I'll always be sensitive to in the future. The armrests on this chair have rubber (harder in this case)

Pros
  • Soft adjustable armrests with silver accents
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great chair, except for the incredibly noisy SPISTA

The chair is almost exactly what I wanted: comfortable, supportive and with mesh to keep it from getting too hot or cold. However, the creaking of the spring is ridiculously loud and unbearable. The main spring of the backrest is made of plastic and it seems impossible to stop the noise. WD40 and silicone lube don't help at all. When I work late at night, every time I get up or sit down, everyone in the house gets woken up. I would return the chair if it wasn't such a hassle to pack it up…

Pros
  • Breathable mesh seat and back with integrated lumbar support
Cons
  • Out of style
