I liked that it didn't require a bluetooth connection. This kept my phone available to connect to another Bluetooth device like my LED home lights. This little speaker is surprisingly loud and clear. It looks good too, but what I like most is the scientific approach to how to make it work. When current flows through wires, it creates an electromagnetic field that can cause electrons to move in nearby wires, creating an "induced" voltage.
