Really important purchase for our new campervan as we didn't have to worry about the bad taste of some campsite's water. It is easy to connect it to the water house and there is a special case that we can install somewhere if we choose.

Does not eliminate the unpleasant smell of rotten eggs. The entire installation will turn rusty brown with water within a few days. The product is not to blame. This is bad camping water. It seals well, doesn't leak and I think my water would definitely smell more without it!

Installation was easy and fairly standard for these filters. The hardest part was finding the right place in my boat to mount the bracket. Once installed, you don't need to do anything else to use it. My water now has no discernible taste.

When I opened the box I checked that everything I needed was there. I can only assume that all the parts were there as there were no installation instructions. After assembling the entire filter system and turning the water on, I had water leaks from both the inlet and outlet hose connections.

The product works perfectly. Very little smell in the water. It says you can clean the filters, but cleaning the filters with the same smelly water won't do anything. The company should offer replacement filters or specify the filter size so that it is clear which filter size fits!

Having mainly used famous brand filters before trying this brand, I am not sure I will use them again. Fittings require a lot of teflon tape and effort to stop leaks. In fact, the intake still leaks at 50 pounds of pressure. You will have to redo all the connections. During use, I store it outside the RV to avoid water problems.
