I have used two Okidata dot matrix printers since 1991. The first printer lasted over 21 years!. I've found that genuine OKI ribbons last at least twice as long as any other non-genuine ribbon I've tried. They may be a bit more expensive, but because they last so long, they're a lot cheaper.

Impact printers, also known as dot matrix printers, still have a place in the workplace. Okidata is a venerable impact printer. Use original ribbons for high quality and durable prints.

I didn't want to pay a higher price so I bought generic MUCH cheaper. However, the ribbons jam, smear or fade very quickly. And after adding the time for reprints etc. I finally decided to buy a ribbon with a personalized stamp. Young! Doesn't matter!

I paid more for this ribbon than the ones I usually use because the description says it lasts longer than the ones I usually use buy, and it's about a month. . The tape is too light to use after 3 days! No unusual or excessive use. I will not buy this cassette again! YOURSELF COLORS? Doesn't seem correct.

This was a pack of 5 genuine OKI ribbons for $70. I just got it and it's cheap branded shit! I could have bought 40 of these branded lots for a lot less! Full of BS!
