Not suitable for outdoor use. They looked great and were fun until after the rain they stopped working completely and got wet. DO NOT BUY for outdoor use unless you are sure they will not be exposed to weather such as rain or snow.

I love the rope light. But the included remote control to turn it on and off doesn't work. Two weeks ago I installed a light rope. I have never used the remote until now. I've only had them for 5 weeks and the remote never worked. Not enough time for the remote control not to work. I thought it might be the battery so I bought a new one. This didn't work either. Terrible remote control. I do not recommend this product.

I like the amount of light you get from these little garlands. They look great in the garden. However, they are very light and have better clarity than fairy lights. They are a bit flimsy and the cords are very light. However, we enjoy them while they last. It can change color and the timer allows you to turn it off remotely. So very convenient. Lots of light for the size of the strands.

Why do we continue to support sellers who scam to save a few bucks? Why is Revain not doing anything at all? [Obviously they aren't waterproof] but I do complain that the lights themselves are so dim! COLORS DO NOT MATCH THE PICTURES! Don't waste your money (trust me) From now on I will only buy lamps from American companies because they are ALWAYS THE BEST. Spend an extra 10 minutes researching and pay an extra $5 to get coverage people really love. Don't skimp on Christmas. I am ashamed

Product as advertised. The headlights work well, there were no problems with extinguishing even in heavy rain. The rope did not stick to itself and so far, after several weeks of continuous outdoor use, has not shown any problems or damage. The only things I would like to see differently would be additional lighting settings only for certain colors e.g. B. Pulse or Fade out for the selected color instead of setting colors for that mode and for the remote control. Other than that, it's a great…

The LEDs are bright and the strings appear to be waterproof but remember the power supply and control box are not! I bought 2 ropes and both had leds that didn't work. Contacted Revain and they replaced them with no problem. I'll see if the replacement parts are good and update this review. UPDATE: I've been using replacement bulbs for 4 months and now one set of lights won't light up at all. I bought them for this specific function, so I'm not too happy. However, the lights work great in many other settings. I hung them on the railing to use on numerous vacations.
