OLUKAI Men's Charcoal Dark 👞 Sandals: Stylish and Comfortable Men's Shoes Review

I needed a pair of leather saddles so I took the plunge. They are ok, definitely not worth the price. First you have to break them, which I did at home before traveling with them. They were tough, so they had to be broken a bit. The sole isn't as soft as my other beach sandals, but it's not stiff either. They have a cool factor but I don't know if I'd want to buy another pair just for that. I. Fact: I know I won't.

I wear the Hokua version and I love it. I bought them to have a more elegant look. They are good quality and beautiful. However, for some reason they are a bit smaller than expected. I should have taken 1 size bigger. Also, any skin can blister over time. I'll look for my Hokuas in an hour or two. I suppose they will wear out over time if you wear them regularly... but for now I prefer to just wear Hokua.

These flip flops look as good as I've ever had; However, in my case, they were not comfortable walking a significant distance (e.g., a mile). They were fine throughout the house, but that's where it ends. Do not try to enter the store in it. Also, in my case, right and left were not identical as they fit. This is probably my fifth pair of Olukai since I started working from home many years ago. As a sign of "protest" against wearing a suit to the office, I now live in shorts, t-shirts (or Hawaiian shirts if I'm having a "formal meeting on a scale") and my oluki. I love these flip flops but there are a few things to note. I usually wear size 9 men's shoes or 10 1/2-11 women's shoes. I ordered it in size 9. When I got size 9 it was a bit small. I went back for a size 10. 10 fits better than 9 but 9 1/2 would be better. Also, being a woman, my legs are not as wide as many men's. However, these shoes are not wide on my feet. This is my second pair of OluKai sandals. The first pair I bought was around $60-$65, which seemed pretty expensive to me at the time. Practically worn out (from about 3-3-1/2 years of continuous use), they're a little tattered, but not cluttered at all. I still have them and use them in harsher environments (like the beach). I just figured a nice new pair of full leather shoes would be in order. I now work from home 100% of the time so my more formal work attire (wingtips, other leather shoes)
