Not so good best on a landline

When it was new the annoying features were: - All available ringtones are shrill and obtrusive. - The answering machine is illogical, his automatic voice is unnatural and uncomfortable, and he had to jump from message to message. The date/time is reset every time the power goes out, even if it's just for a split second. Now that I've had the phones for over a year, the headphone jack doesn't work on either receptor. I would not buy this model again.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons

A piece of junk! for landline

I bought this phone a year or two ago and the LCD panels are completely broken. I couldn't see who was calling and the light on the phone went out too. The only reason I bought the phone was the price and the discount. It was a waste of time and money. I went to the radio store and bought some good phones and they cost less than what I paid for the Olympia phones, plus they have speakerphone and some other features that the Olympia didn't have. If you want an expandable phone, DO NOT get…

Disappointed good for landline

I bought one of these phones with a base that includes a digital answering machine and an extra handset. I liked it at first, but after a few months or a year the sound quality on the answering machine deteriorated a lot. Sometimes it is difficult to understand received messages. The digital answering machine does not work properly and you can no longer miss messages. Also, the displays of both devices burned out, making the caller ID feature completely unusable. Given the opportunity, I would…

Poor quality good for phones and accessories

I bought 2410 and 3 additional phones. The feature set is great, but callers reported constant echoing unless I turned the speaker volume down low enough. Callers have reported annoying, loud beeps from time to time. This makes no sense - it's not a call waiting, and it's not a message waiting notification. None of these conditions have occurred on my other 2.4GHz phone. Our friend who saw we had this phone said he had the same problem and ended up returning the phone. Shortly after the…
