Very satisfied

This shaving soap is great! I used Kiehl's for years until they discontinued their product. I was a bit concerned as I don't usually like anything scented as it affects me but this soap is perfect. It foams quickly, stays smooth and leaves the skin feeling nice. The smell is strong at first, but will dissipate when you're done.

Cons
  • Almost never

One of my favorite shaving soaps

I don't know how to classify the consistency of this soap. This is not a soft cream or a hard soap. For lack of a better description, this is a very hard cream. It takes a little effort to get good lather, but the result is worth it. Many shaving soaps and creams create a lather that dries before I can finish my shave. This soap holds moisture better than any other soap I've used and gives you a close shave from start to finish.

Pros
  • Shaving creams, lotions and gels
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Honestly, it works great as a shaving cream. I don't know how it was before everyone said it changed the formula but I've been using it for over a week now and haven't had any problems. When you first open it, it looks fake and plasticky. , but you just whip it up and go, and it works just as well as anything else. Is it better than…

Good for the first six months

This is a good shaving soap at a great price. The scent reminded me of my grandfather's shaving soap from the early '60s. Definitely an old-fashioned scent for hairdressers. When I first used this soap made a great creamy lather even in the very hard water I had at home. He performed daily for six months. However, as I neared the bottom of the bowl, the quality and volume of the foam began to deteriorate. The foam was thin and lacked the good lubrication I was used to. It's as if the oils…
