Omix Ada 17910 01 HVAC Door Lever Review

This is the correct part for a '99 Cherokee Defrost Door Handle. I went stealing and this part is no longer available for retail sale. You must purchase the entire HVAC unit to get this lever for Cherokee. does not happen. After some research I found out that this lever is the same part needed to repair my HVAC heater door for my XJ. Works without problems.

There is a lot of confusion here and I think it might be related to the name. Omix-Ada 17910.01 The HVAC door handle is listed as the A/C base and on my 1997 TJ it is the heater handle. Omix-Ada 17910.02 HVAC Door Lever is listed as Upper Deicer Door and on my 1997 TJ it is a Panel Door Lever. In the first picture it is above, below - 0.02. .01 is longer than .02. The upside of the Jeep Wrangler is that repairs can be very easy. I've had my Jeep for 16 years and in that time I've never had a defrost. Luckily, you don't have to constantly thaw out in the south. When my vents stopped blowing cold air conditioning air, I was forced to investigate. I found that my vent and defrost levers were broken. I ordered the parts and after a few days my vents are blowing that cold cool sweet AC air again and my defrost is really working. Praise God for small miracles!

This is the third time I've been trying to get this part and I still haven't gotten what I want. The first time I thought there was a mistake in my order and just ordered another one leaving the wrong one for later use. The second time around I thought they might have mixed up the part numbers so I ordered a different one. This is the third time and now I'm tearing my hair out.
