Great scissors for crafting

These are small but very good scissors. My only complaint would be that a more comfortable grip would come in handy after extended use. Otherwise they cut great! Definitely recommend. I bought about 15 pairs of scissors trying to find the right one (I needed good scissors for cutting felt with precision) and these are some of the best I've found!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Ribbon

I love these sharp little scissors

This is my second of these scissors. I only use them for slow stitch embroidery. They are light. Pleasant in the hand. Sharp, they are sharp at the tip and center of the blade. I bought a handmade green case from Sublime Stitch in Cali. Oh, and yes, I've taken these little sharp objects with me on plane flights.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Tradeable

Great little scissors

I'm a quilter and also professionally embroider digitized patterns on an embroidery machine. Small, SHARP scissors, sharp on the point, are CRITICAL to cut ACCURATELY and PRECISELY in certain areas so you don't cut the FABRIC but get all those unwanted threads. These scissors are very suitable for this. I bought 2 pairs. One for each of my machines. Great price for these high quality scissors.

  • Absolute legend

  • Not sure

Very sharp for the scissors

I am an embroiderer who also enjoys embroidery, crocheting and knitting. When I pick up my tiny pair of scissors, I rely on them to be extremely sharp and reliable. Although I've spent a lot of money on other brands that haven't served me for a long time, I was shocked at the price when my husband bought them for me while I was in the hospital. I don't use anything anymore! Very good and convenient to use. Now cat out of the bag! Treat yourself or add to your gift list.

Incredibly sharp, just like their spinning blades.

These are the sharpest scissors I've ever owned! I believe the reviewer who said she dropped them and they got stuck in the ground, and I also agree with another reviewer who said she "always keep them in a protective case". I use them for applique and while I'm a big fan of serrated scissors, they often work when nothing else works. Omnigrid products have always been reliable, just like these scissors. I am also considering buying her large pair of scissors.

  • Perfect for outdoor activities

This is my favorite brand and scissors

This is my favorite brand and scissors! The point and cut these villains make is precise and perfect! I have several of these scissors for different things I cut. I have a couple for paper, felt, wool, fabric and applique. As crafters probably know, cutting different media with scissors at different speeds gets blunt. But these scissors stay sharp! Anyone who has ever borrowed my Omigrid scissors in any of my sizes has always ended up with their own. My mom has owned a fabric, sewing and craft…

Superb Applique Scissors

Recommended by an art quilting teacher and I am very impressed. The technique required constant cutting of the fabric to create the piece and I found these scissors very comfortable to use and extremely sharp. I was taught to puncture tissue (that was already stabilized) rather than bending the tissue and making a cut. The needles are sharp enough to easily go through fabric. I literally cut pieces of fabric all day and my hands never get tired of using these scissors! I didn't feel like…

ideal for fusible woven fabrics on a paper backing

This is actually my second of these little scissors. I love making picture quilts that require me to cut out tiny pieces of fabric that have been fused to fusible sheets of paper. This means that I cut paper and fabric at the same time. Those of you who sew, or have loved ones who sew, know that we usually keep fabric scissors separate from paper scissors because the paper dulls the scissors very quickly and then they cannot cut the fabric. Scissors for tiny jobs in this craft. I have a dozen…
