Harder than a wedding photo!

After reading the reviews I was concerned about the stiffness. I don't understand what the hell they were talking about! That thing is harder than a wedding cock!

Tough junk of accessories

The gooseneck is solid and does the job, but the threads on the female end are cheap plastic and snapped the first time I tightened it. Now it doesn't stick at all. I can only push it, but it rotates 360Β°. He won't stay. Too bad the goose part is high quality only to spoil the product with cheap plastic threads. This is what makes the JUNK product. Do not buy.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • So so

If I could give 0 stars here I would.

I ordered this to fit my existing gear. While the male end fits snugly into every female mic I have, the female end (that "gooseneck") is larger than 5/8" one. It didn't rotate, it slipped. If it doesn't screw into place , then how the hell is it supposed to hold the mic?

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Faulty

Surprisingly strong

I am impressed with the strength and apparent quality of this gander considering how inexpensive it is. Instead of using it to mount a microphone, I made homemade end brackets for it and mounted it on my car's center console (under the stereo) as a flexible phone mount. I use my phone to play music on my car stereo via bluetooth and it's nice to be able to use the speakerphone and just keep my phone within reach. Experience has shown that it is surprisingly strong and does not sag at all even…
