So my first few times using this made me a little hesitant to learn how to "gain" cutting depth BUT I have to say that overall I really enjoy using it and delivered the best julienned carrots and potatoes of any mandolin I've used.

Mandolins scare me, there are too many accidents on reality TV so I came across this chopper thanks to Crazy Russian Hacker on YouTube. Cuts potatoes and sweet potatoes perfectly, even, thin slices. I have all the skin on my hands!

Best purchase I've ever made from Revain. And I shop here a lot, so that's saying something. I bought another mandolin (different brand) about 2 weeks before this one. I threw it in the trash after one use because it almost fell apart. Buying and using was a 180 degree difference. Perfectly shaped fries cut in seconds. Literally seconds. Do not wait. Buy one before everyone realizes how good they are and they will end up selling out because they are so popular.
