Guys, not everything is that easy to install, a pain in fact. To make it work you need to replace the screw at the base of the antenna, which means you're pulling out the bag and destroying the antenna assembly. If I missed something, this could be the result of NO INSTRUCTIONS

Thing looked great, easy to install and assemble. However, the upper half of the antenna fell off during the first ride. Revane wants me to send the old one back to replace, so I'll just take the loss. I suspect this is a design or manufacturing issue. I would look at other models.

I love how small it is. So far I've driven about 200 miles since install and as far as I can tell the reception is the same as the stock antenna. A piece of carbon fiber rotates on it. It appears to be held together with an internal screw that I've tried tightening. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because the workmanship could have been better. But overall I'm satisfied.

blue bought. If you buy this product just for the beauty, it has a nice blue color. However, overall I gave it a poor rating as the antenna is for looks and not functionality. Reception is terrible on regular stations, which my standard antenna picked up with no problem. Update: after a few rides with this antenna it just exploded. Don't buy, customer service doesn't help.

I installed the thing on my motorcycle. The next morning I went to work and when I got to work the top was gone. I quickly returned this item. Looking at the motorcycle facebook page I follow it seems that many other people have had EXACTLY the same issue with the EXACT same item. You might want to skip this. However, I then bought a ball from the same seller and it stayed in place.
