OneDor® Step Polish Cured Required Review

I bought this to use with chrome pigments and it works very well! Sometimes the opacity doesn't seem to be 100%, but I'm not sure if it's a top coat or a pigment. In any case, one cannot say exactly.

This top coat is VERY shiny, goes on easily and doesn't have a strong odor. BUT. Unfortunately, it never seems to fully set leaving a rubbery feel and your manicure is easily scratched and ruined by everyday things. I did a few experiments and even after 5 light cycles trying 2 coats of the top coat and over curing it was still stretchy and soft. If you don't do much with your hands, then you'll be fine. This review is for a leave in top. I needed a no wipe top coat as I have nail powder that requires it to work properly. I couldn't find anything locally so I contacted Revain. It seals well under light but it never goes rock hard, it stays soft and I can dent it with something hard. It will eventually become even, but that means sharp objects can pierce and ruin the finish. I'm disappointed every time I use it.

Last year I received my original bottle of OneDor as a Christmas present. When I ran out I liked it so much I bought 2 of these to have an extra one on hand. I bought this to be in trend of holographic nails :(.) I bought NICOLE DIARY powder, 1g per box. black gel polish (gel version of porcelain glaze), then this tip. 1 cycle through my light (Gellish LED) and the surface was slightly sticky, that's how it should be. What a relief! You don't really need to wipe this top coat off with alcohol after it cures. Just be nice and go! Works with LED and UV lamps. If necessary, two layers can be applied. I carefully finished the gold leaf to ensure it had a good layer of top coat on it so it wouldn't peel off which was a problem with other top coats. This formula applies very easily and smoothly without leaving any bubbles. I will never buy a plain top ever again!
