Great, maybe a little insert with instructions wouldn't hurt - but we managed it. The basket holding the tea falls into the neck of the bottle where it locks into place, hence the handle for easy removal after brewing. Remember that even though the bottle is double walled, it still gets hot!

I have been using the bottle for over 3 months now. It comes with a padded, protective carrying case and a very mild and handy bottle cleaner. The opening is wide enough to easily empty and fill the bottle with tea, water, etc. for brewing. It's all glass and quite large (I have the 800ml version) so handle clean and with care. This is a very useful product and appears to be very well designed. The follow-up and sincerity of the company's customer service are commendable.

I used this thermos to take cold sodas to work hoping my drink would stay cold until lunch. Unfortunately, my lemonade got a bit cool after 5-6 hours in the thermos (and neoprene sleeve), although the bottle coped with the lemonade without any problems. Looks like I'll stick with my metal vacuum insulated thermos for now. However, this bottle is beautiful and I intend to continue using it to make infused water or even as a table jug.
