Perfect for spring and summer. I have twinkle lights for every season and they don't disappoint. The only downside is that they use a lot of batteries. I have some very old IKEA LED bulbs and the batteries last 5-7 months with 24/7 use. I'm not sure why I can't find other LED strings that last as long. I keep trying because I love them.

The wires holding the mushrooms are very weak and brittle. I ended up breaking the ones on my bed frame and rendering them unusable. I think they're probably too inferior for the money you're spending and the wire is surprisingly short. I could only roll over on the side of my bed that is already small. They are made of hard plastic strung on double silver wire. Pretty strong. Looks like they'll last a long time. This is the perfect piece of art for my granddaughter and I to hang over my bed.
