Less than one star for brightness. not too bad because don't even think about plugging all the lightbulbs into the one power supply they give you, I can only turn on one set of lightbulbs and even if they are on for over an hour the power supply is so hot it can burn you !

The reason I gave it 4 stars is that I was surprised to find headphone jacks at each end of the four light strips. I didn't see it in the description or in the pictures. Without a 2-pin spade connector, a clean connection with no exposed wires is not possible.

Because the LEDs are so far apart in the visible range, the dots become very visible. I assume they work for shelf lighting where you can't see the dots. I used ducts with diffusers and that helped a little. The price is very good, which attracted me, but I had to study them more.

I wish the light was warm instead of cold. But the quality of the self-adhesive is amazing, and the pegs allow you to stick together. I've used them to add extra lighting to my garage and they work great. I don't want the controller to turn on and off so close to the light itself, I have to climb up to get to the switch which is almost at ceiling level as they are fixed to the ceiling. The good thing was the price was right for the footage received and the brightness was perfect for what I wanted (aligned in the ceiling of the cargo trailer). I installed these lamps in the attic to use in preparation for a major renovation. My once dark and spooky room is now well lit and not so intimidating! It's literally like day and night! I bought 2 sets of these 50ft/3 warm LED strips for an indirect ceiling lighting project because I had to tie 4 sets together to get 60ft. together the brightness didn't bother too painfully. A little flashy, but acceptable for my purposes. The standard 3 strips that come with the kit work well with a slight but negligible loss of light at the end of the kit.
