I know I'm probably stupid but I wish it was clear in the instructions that you shouldn't cut the strip unless you bought extra plugs and AC adapters . The instructions make cutting easy as long as it's on the copper line, but after you've cut you need a way to connect to a power source. Half of my tape is useless at the moment as I have neither the idea nor the resources to connect it to a power source. I'm so sad.

The bar style fluorescent black lighting still wins by a wide margin. This strip doesn't light things up SO well, even at twice the size, but this 16.4ft Onforu LED UV Blacklight Strip Kit, Flexible 12V Blacklight might have its uses - I have a train going across the living room ceiling and I want them to illuminate fluorescent windows against a flat background. I have very little space between the track and the wall, and I really don't want any batten lights on the ceiling.

I haven't hung them yet because I'm still thinking about how to place them because the power supply is in the same place with 3 different strips. Lighting! It was when I have to surprise a family member, but you know what? I had to ask a family member to help me figure out how to hang the light. Luckily we found a few extra DC sources around the house. I'll post them tonight and update my review. I know it's my fault for not reading the full description but god what a headache.

GET IT! I just installed them - I used temporary double sided tape. The tape attached to it is POSSIBLE! Also they are so neat, the light they give off is very bright. I see other reviews saying they are dim but I don't know how. I blocked out all natural light and used two of these for my living room and one for the kitchen for our glow in the dark Halloween party. These are ultraviolet LEDs just as near infrared LEDs are sometimes referred to simply as infrared. They emit so much visible light that it distorts the color of the illuminated fluorescent material. For example, glow-in-the-dark plastic that should glow a bright greenish-white color under UV light will glow a dull bluish color. Okay, I love them. I went with the double sided tape as suggested in the review but as you can see in the corner it ran out. But glued pretty well. So I'm not sure if I need to buy a cassette.
