Vintage Lamp Socket by Onite Review

I found a nice lamp by the trash can and brought it home only to find it didn't work, so it was probably near the trash can. It was such a good lamp that I thought it would be a shame to throw it away again, so I decided to fix it. There aren't many moving parts in the lamp so I bought a new cartridge to replace the old one. Replacing the old outlet was easy enough. Now I have a work lamp!

These sockets are, well, sockets and yes, the sockets work and the lights come on. Hooray. Rschunimagu. But even here there were a few small disappointments. I'll admit I may have missed this in the product description, but I wasn't expecting the base of each socket to be metal plastic. I thought it was real metal.
