Our grandson loves cars and all vehicles. He also loves balloons so this toy was an easy task for us. We bought it for him for his birthday and he fell in love with it immediately. At first he needed a little help figuring out how it worked, but once he figured it out he played with the toy for over an hour. She became one of his favorite toys.

It's a nice idea, but it's missing in many places. First, the instructions aren't very good. However, it's pretty simple, and I was able to figure it out. This toy definitely needs supervision and the child needs help during play. Once you get your head together and choose a toy to shoot, it takes a few (15-20) clicks to fill the balloon. The toy didn't actually explode very high and was a little disappointing. The parts seem a bit cheap and I don't expect them to last very long.

As others have pointed out, the overall product is disappointing. The concept and idea here is actually quite fun and original, and the execution is lacking. If they came out with a follow-up product that fixed the issues that other reviewers found regarding the pump etc, they would understand something. Set includes balloon set, hand pump, astronaut, rocket ship and car. Each nozzle has a hole for a balloon at the top. My 6 year old put on balloons for everyone and can work on his own. It takes at least 20 clicks to inflate the balloon, then press the button at the top to release it. who inflates. I really like that he has toys that go up and ones that go forward. It takes my 6 year old child.

At the moment this toy is completely defective. I bought a similar toy from another company and my son loves it, ordered this for my nephew as a gift. The pump just doesn't work like it should, there is a 50/50 chance the car balloon will inflate, and the astronaut balloons don't work at all. The nozzle for spaceships and astronauts simply won't hold air, the balloon will deflate immediately after being inflated once. My older kids loved it when I pulled this out of the Amazon box! They had one in summer school last year, so they were already familiar with the toy. We've had it for a few weeks now and ours is still working great. They come back often to play with it, so I'm happy to report that this is a toy that has yet to gather dust.
