💧 Waterproof Electric Junction Box - 100X60X25mm Review

I'm hooking up an Arduino Uno and some extra lighting circuits and the video box is too big (my usual project box, now that I have so much excess) so I thought that was a good suggestion but can't use it. I will put them in my electronics basket one day though, but not this time.

Can't ask for better for the price I used it for an external battery holder and fitted a very small waterproof grommet. Not where it's outside, I've got it open so the rain doesn't hit it, but it gets hose sprayed maybe once a week and inside it's still dry.

I received this order quickly and at a good price and this is it the size I need to store batteries for a project I'm working on. I like it.

No lip seal. I filled one with water and it immediately flowed out of the various openings between the snap lid and the box. It can be waterproof if placed in a place protected from water. This is a good indoor box for electronic and other small parts. When used outdoors, moisture will penetrate due to poor sealing and cause rust or corrosion on metal parts.

I used this to install a homemade 5v-12v Wi-Fi switch module ($15) next to the Velcro electric garage door knob. The lid is stuck. I cut a small hole for the power supply and to route a jumper that connects to the garage door button. Viola, an affordable smart garage door opener. This project box has been working great since I bought it a year and a half ago. I would go again if I need a different project box.

I give them five stars, the size is suitable for many projects I am working on and the price is worth the wallet. The plastic is a bit flimsy, but it's ok for the price. I doubt I would trust them as "waterproof" as they don't have a rubber seal and clamp mechanism, but I believe they are at least "waterproof". They snap together with a nice click, which is all I usually need.

I have used these boxes for my last dozen esp8266 projects and just bought a few more . They are the perfect size and the quality is good. I'm not sure how the other reviewers ended up with broken boxes; My last order also had 10 pounds of diatomaceous earth in the shipping box and it arrived undamaged. In fact, the boxes are quite flexible and well packaged, requiring you to drive your car over them to break them. They are easily machined with punches or a drill. I love her!

Insert a buck converter and an Arduino Nano as the LED strip driver block. It drives 2x 15 foot strips for a total of 270 LEDs. I drilled a hole for power cable and USB input and LED output. Came in a large sealed envelope. I did not receive any damaged units like the other reviewers. I guess it's just luck when there is damage in transit in an envelope. Snap on lid, very well made, snaps into place with no problems and is flush, works as intended. Perfect for my needs, very satisfied. :)
