Try it, you will like it!

Great stuff. If you've never tried camera/binocular straps, you've got some fun in store. It completely relieves your neck and makes your binoculars or camera weightless. It is very important to me to enjoy a long hike and still have a camera or binoculars with me. It takes a little practice to get used to putting on a harness, but I can wear the gear for hours without feeling the weight. I was looking for this OP/TECH version because it has more stretch than a canvas sling and has quick…

Terrible design, I want better suspension!

I really hate this. And I really tried to decide when in doubt. I really wanted it to work. The loops for hooking the quick release buckles were so thick and stiff that they were really, really difficult to put on (I should have listened to the reviews that said this the first time). I mean I used tweezers and metal files to try to get it in. I finally put it on. I'm surprised I wore it. Then this is the most uncomfortable suspension! The way it's made it's either so tight that the camera is…

This is my first hanger of this general type. It's better than a lanyard except for attaching or detaching clothing. This allows the binoculars and camera to wobble a bit when walking, but not in the way a lanyard does. It's totally convenient. It took me a while to find the right strap length and I can't tell you how forgiving it can be if you don't want to mess with this babe. What I don't like is that the straps pull in different directions when you take them off, partly I think because they

Ideal as for adults. Change is necessary for children.

Attaching clip loops to binocular loops is very easy and feels secure. When I bought them I was ready to do a little tinkering to make these simple straps work for my 10 and 12 year olds. Having received them I would say they will NOT work properly on a child without a simple touch up. I tried the harness on myself (an average adult female) and it worked great! But when I adjusted the strap for my child's smaller stature, the plastic adjustment pieces prevented the sliding clips from moving…

Okay but you have to stick to the system

The harness works fine as intended but I don't use it now. There are four issues with using my binoculars or camera. First, the position of the straps does not, of course, provide a convenient place to attach the binocular eyepiece cover, as the straps are laid sideways rather than straight back, parallel to the direction of view, and run close to the eyepieces as with a regular collar. Since I want to tie the eyepiece cap so I don't lose it, I need to somehow tie it to the binoculars or…
