I almost didn't buy them though, having complained about the sharp needle in the form of a protrusion on the underside that could and did cut. As an optimist I bought it anyway. These are good glasses. I wish they had a "Coastal" option when I bought them. I really don't like red or green, although it can be fun at Christmas. I wish they were a bit thicker and heavier - they feel like cheap plastic. They contain more liquid than you think. They look even more beautiful when they are filled with water. Several reviewers complained about sharp edges. I had one in my gear but I don't think it's sharp enough to cut someone even if you try. Another problem is the hole size.
