It's a lot stickier than Oratape, so much so that it pulls on the Oramask I use in my projects. The tape is also much thinner and will stretch and deform when you try to remove it. The transfer tape arrived wrapped in a regular clear plastic bag. Nowhere on the transfer tape (front, back, on the packaging) is "Oracal" written. I can't imagine this is really the Oracal brand because their vinyl is of the highest quality. However, this transfer tape is no better than cheap contact paper from Walmart. I doubt I actually got an Oracle transfer tape. All my Oracle records have the word Oracle printed on the back of the records. I could be wrong, the markings on the mesh are similar but not branded. This has nothing to do with Oracle. I'm not a vinyl newbie. It doesn't capture glossy vinyl at all, although I'm told the Oracle version captures glossy vinyl. The tape is fine.
