On the plus side, the toothbrush feels stronger than the two Oral-B brushes I've had in years. The handle of this brush is equally thick and when wet it becomes too slippery for the toothbrush to maneuver well in the mouth. The grip is plastic all over and lacks a "rubbery" feel or enough texture to provide a good grip. I see this as a design flaw.

Works well, cleans like an electric toothbrush and is much more than just hand brushing! The on/off button is difficult to press. Also, it's a bit noisy, like my old tumble dryer. Overall, I wasn't looking for a toothbrush with smart features or anything out of the ordinary, so I'm happy with the purchase. Two of my teenagers have also started using it and they love it!

I personally think it should have included two or three brush samples in the kit to see which works best before spending another $30 or $60 to find out.

I bought the Oral-B toothbrush on the advice of my dental hygienist because it tends to collect a lot of plaque. I like the thoroughness of the cleaning and the time the "jerky" provides at 30 second intervals. A recent review noted that the grip becomes slippery and difficult to hold when wet. I found the same thing, so I wrapped a large rubber band around the handle as shown in the photo. It gives me enough support without getting in the way. There is one more problem that I could not solve…

I had a Phillips Sonic Care brush head which I used for many years before purchasing this toothbrush. I love it. My teeth and gums seem cleaner than Sonic Care. It has a sensor that lights up when you scrub too hard, which I usually do. It has interval timers every 30 seconds so you know how long you've been brushing. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, although I wish Oral B would have provided you with replacement toothbrush heads. Phillips Sonic Care includes these in their brush…
