Industrial quality - nice finish

Industrial device - not cheap, thin plastic box and lid. Highly recommended. I used it in a residential setting and the outlet will most likely outlive the house. Good ending. Very adjustable in height.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • No machine

Reliable junction box but had difficulty adjusting after installation

Robust fixings for the floor junction box. It seals well and is built like a tank. However, the adjustment screws didn't work properly and it was very difficult to get the right height after installing it in the floor.

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something

Nice to install but not easy to get to

love the look of the finished installation sturdy materials terrible instructions - and I mean really bad! If installing in a finished floor, ignore the instructions. installed floor panel on the underside of the sub-floor. Two people are required to install this socket! The hardware outweighs the effort. It's durable and attractive.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • security

Expensive but worth it

Used this on a home renovation project - I think my electrician used the top instead of a more traditional home wiring. Pricey but feels and looks good and offers some protection from spills or dirt for the bottom outlet. It's unobtrusive on my hardwood floors with no annoying protrusions. I did not find a similar product to compare, I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Quality is good but one came with no fitting instructions

Bought two. The quality was good, but one came without installation instructions. The other arrived with no screws, which is important because they fit the brass cover. We had a code review scheduled so there was no time to go back. I had to get through.

Pros
  • Electrician
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Nice to install but not easy to get

Love the look of the finished unit Sturdy materials Terrible instructions - and I mean really bad! If installing in a finished floor, ignore the instructions. Find out how YOU want it. I mounted the bottom panel on the underside of the sub-floor. Two people are definitely required to install this outlet! The hardware outweighs the effort. It's durable and attractive.

Pros
  • Sockets
Cons
  • Some bugs

Expensive but worth it

I used this on a home renovation project - I think my electrician used a top end rather than more conventional home furnishings. Pricey but feels and looks good and offers some protection from spills or dirt for the bottom outlet. It's unobtrusive on my hardwood floors with no annoying protrusions. I did not find a similar product to compare, I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
