Expat is needed in video converters

So we have American TV abroad and we have been trying to hook up local TV for our kids in their playroom. We had a gray and fuzzy image until we bought it. Works exactly as advertised and installation was easy. Saved us from buying a TV at local prices that would be 10 times the price of our US TV and much worse in quality. A must for expats.

Attention: D 4k resolution does not work!

I am so disappointed with this product. I already have an Orei XD-1190, but my TV is a 4K TV with a maximum resolution of 1080. So I was curious about a product that outputs 4k/2k resolution. But to my greatest disappointment after spending so much, this product doesn't even come close to the advertised 4k output! Plug & Play for A/V accessories

My doubts about this converter were dispelled within 10 seconds after I connected it to my 50 inch HDTV. It converts the PAL signal here in Europe to the NTSC signal on my US TV. The picture quality is very good (can't measure if it's Full HD) and I saved on buying a new European PAL TV so I'm VERY happy with the converter.
