As mentioned, the SD card slot is very narrow

As mentioned before, the SD card slot is very narrow. times and you can already see the scratches on it because the SD card slot is just too narrow. However, it works.

Extremely comfortable and excellent service

It fits the bottom of my monitor and is very secure. It is very convenient that the USB ports and SD card reader face me and I use it often. I had a problem installing SD cards as they were read-only most of the time (although the lock slider was set to unlock) and they quickly arranged a replacement.

Cool idea, but it doesn't work the way it's supposed to.

I needed a USB/SD card "hub" that could be securely attached to my desk. This happens with some mods but now it has another problem. If you remove the SD card and try to reinstall it, Windows will not recognize the card, which is now back in the readers. You must disable the USB reader for Windows to find it again. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • OK overall, but...

Unlike the other reviewers, I had no issues with the SD card slot. It's very tight but I don't see that as a problem because the card just slides in a bit and you want it to be secure. It's not a spring-loaded slot like in a laptop or anything. The price was good considering the same item sells for more at other sellers. It is very convenient to attach a hub to the edge of a desk/desk.

The SD card slot is very narrow

As others have reported, the SD card is very scarce. If I force the card in, there's a good chance I can break and destroy the card. I have a well-formed replacement microSD adapter and you can see the deep scratch after trying to get it in and out. I decided to take it apart to examine it. It turns out that the metal socket on the board is too tight. I widened it with a chisel and also widened the body hole with a file. After the mod I could just pop in and remove any SD card and it still…

perfect for mounting a fingerprint reader

This USB hub is ideal for mounting a fingerprint reader in the corner of a monitor. Where my USB socket on my computer was awkward to place my finger, the angle of my display is perfect. It was also a good spot for a USB drive connector. It was easy to assemble and not as bad as other reviews have written, maybe their monitors were inferior to mine. My monitor is Asus 27 inch ASUS VE278H. I thought the slightly curved back would be a problem. I installed it in the lower left corner. The only…

Puts "handy " in "handy ports ". Avoid using with 2.4GHz peripherals.

One of the ZDNet reviewers mentioned this in an article and it gave me one of those A-HA! moments. After removing this object, I attached it to the bottom of my huge monitor, plugged it in, and suddenly, as if the clouds were clearing, pigeons descended from above and cheerful music began to play. OK, I'm exaggerating. a little. My new workstation doesn't have a built-in SD card reader, and the one I used to get around until I found something more ergonomic and user-friendly had its…
