It was perfect for what I needed it for. We use it as a second bedside table. It's fairly durable for this purpose, and being able to store items in it is a bonus. Good price for such a basket. Although I would not recommend it for children.

Bigger than described (actually about 18 inches) so doesn't fit the space I have, poor quality, very torn, far from black - natural color translucent all over, only three legs, so tipping and very rough wooden legs, as well as ridiculously bad packaging, item badly damaged, returned.

The product I received was not as pictured. It was made from two types of grass. The bottom was very coarsely woven and the lid was more densely woven as shown in the picture. Also, it was very glossy black, which made it pretty cheap in my opinion. As another reviewer noted, the three legs made it tip over easily. Needless to say I returned it.
