🎧 Enhance Your Audio Experience with the Ortofon 2M Black Moving Magnet Cartridge Review

In general I like everything about this great artwork and technology. The 2M Black reproduces mids and highs very precisely and significantly better than the 2M Bronze. I bought the latter a few months ago and wanted to test the needle interchangeability between black and bronze. According to Ortofon, the Bronze cart really improves with the Shibata 2M Black stylus.

A monumental improvement over the 2M Red I was using. of course it should be. 7 times more expensive. Much clearer from top to bottom, the bass has been particularly boosted. Less noise. the inevitable popping, etc. seems pushed into the background, instrument separation is vastly improved, and the soundstage is more pronounced and defined. It was a little light with a preamp and combination of amps. But with my preferred setup it's really impressive. I can't imagine how much better a high end…

I recently upgraded my amp and speakers and it's like discovering new music. I like classic, rock and pop music best. When good CD players came out years ago, I gave away cases of records, but kept a few favorite records and bought a decent turntable with a good quality cartridge to play them occasionally.
