Poor build quality, handles, overall

The top of the handle is slightly torn when it comes out of the box, the black finish is easy to chip, the metal on the butt sides is soft, scratches and looks like it will it rust quickly. restocking fee.

Pros
  • power and hand tools
Cons
  • possibility of replacement

I like it so far. best in Hammers

It looks like a short, thick, 2# long piece of hickory butter. However, it does not have the red epoxy sealer on top as shown in the photo. looks a bit dry and pitted, as if a sweaty hand had rubbed the wood. But otherwise the hammer looks brand new and perfect. In any case, you can glue the top and paint the rest of the handle.

Pros
  • Hammers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

I like it so far. for hammers

It looks like a short thick 2# stick of oil on hickory. However, it does not have the red epoxy sealer on top as shown in the picture. the protection looks a little dry and pockmarked, as if a sweaty hand had rubbed the wood. But otherwise the hammer looks brand new and perfect. In any case, you can glue the top and paint the rest of the handle.

Pros
  • Red lacquered hickory handle
Cons
  • No power

Wrong picture. The handle is not sealed. Suspicion of durability

The handle head is not sealed. The tip of the handle in the head is cracked/spilled. The wood of the handle was probably not sufficiently dried. I have doubts about the possibility of using this hammer for more difficult tasks, given the bad hanging of the head and the condition of the handle. Not recommended for serious use. Good name but poor quality control. I would look elsewhere. FYI, an 11 inch hammer weighs 1500g - 3.3lbs.

Pros
  • Made in Italy
Cons
  • Something else

Very good! Best of Ball Hammers

I am glad I bought this OSCA to replace the Estwing 2# rotary hammer which I have used almost daily since 2017. given to my son. I can say that this OSCA club will age and become a wonderful family heirloom after a few years of use. If I didn't have to add red epoxy to seal the exposed end grain and make it look like the picture I would give it a 5 star rating. I checked the OSCA website. Your hammer photos show an open grain without the red epoxy, just like the one I received. I don't know why

Pros
  • Attached with Round Steel Wedge
Cons
  • Drill Pack
