At home, it can be placed in garages, hallways and dining rooms. POWER: The 5.25 inch polypropylene cone woofer and 1⁄2 inch pivoting dome tweeter configuration of the ICE520 makes for 100 watts of high powered handling similar to a home theater speaker. SOUND QUALITY: The ICE520 will come through with excellent sound quality to surround large crowds and noisy surroundings. With a frequency response of 65 Hz – 20 kHz, the ICE520 allows for fine tuned sound clarity. MOUNT: This in-ceiling speaker is able to be installed and flushed in the ceiling or wall to match your home décor. The grille can be painted with spray paint for the best look in any building or house. CABLE: OSD recommends purchasing their CL3/FT4 fire-retardant wire that is specifically designed with special shielding for crawl spaces and wall cavities.

Decent sound Very sophisticated distance/installation grids

The speaker grilles were almost impossible to remove and reinstall. I broke the removal tool pulling them together and had to bend the metal on the grilles to reattach them after placing them on the ceiling.

but they look and work like new. This is the third time I buy.

These were advertised to me as "not new" but look and function like new. This is the third time I've bought speakers from this manufacturer because they have great product quality at a much cheaper price compared to brands like Polk Audio and JBL and they sound just as great!

OSD Audio-In Ceiling Speaker

I bought these speakers to use as surround back speakers. They sound great and reproduce rich highs and lows. Definitely happy with the speakers. I have purchased many speakers and electronics from Outdoor Speaker Depot. I like this site. Technical support was always very helpful when I called. They usually deliver items within a day or two of placing the order. Thank you OSD for great speakers!

Great speakers for home audio.

We have 5 ceiling mounted speakers from this company and they are all amazing, especially considering the price. We were willing to spend a few thousand dollars and I'm so glad we didn't. TV is very different now - my poor dogs are on high alert because the sounds sound so real to them that they think there are people out front or in the backyard lol. They sound way better than the Sony cubes I've had before and we were able to get all those speakers and cables out of the living room. I no…

The speakers themselves are good but it took some work to install. Not as easy as expected. Otherwise they sound and look good.
