Great quality but odd fit. . .

Many things about this backpack are amazing: bright color (great for the tropical climate I live in), build quality, insulation to keep drinks cold. But the landing is completely strange. As someone who has used packs for both work and technical climbing for over 35 years, the fit of this pack is exceptionally odd. The cross at the neck digs into the spine (base of the neck) in a way I've never experienced, and it's not related to my body type or gender (because I've been successfully fitted to

Couldn't hold anything

The only reason I can give this bag one star is because the bag/fabric feels durable. However, the bag was so small that nothing fit in it. I was thinking about taking a backpack to Thailand or just a handbag. I chose this backpack. That's about as much as I could fit in my purse. There is absolutely no room in this bag. I barely had time to zip up before stuffing some clothes and toiletries into my bag for a quick night out. I wish I had used a plastic bag. Also, the water bottle holders onโ€ฆ

I really wanted to love this backpack but it has its flaws

I really wanted to love this backpack but it has its flaws. It's a really good size, but it's a little annoying to put things in it. It tends to be very heavy, especially when you put something in the front pocket. Objects just won't settle down and everything just seems to go up. Also, never use the water bottle side rail, any movement and your bottle will fall out. I still love it for hiking because it has room for a camel backpack so I can store water and stuff in it. Great buy for the daily run

I bought this bag because I was looking for a bag that I can take to work and take with me on my run right after. To be honest I'm surprised every time I try to fill it up with last minute purchases or a change of clothes because I always feel like there's something else I can stuff in. I agree with others that the side water bottle pockets are essentially useless as the bottle can't stay there without falling uselessly on the floor. A little cumbersome but I bought a camera for the tail bag so

GREAT BACKPACK!: Hiking packs

I'm a big fan of Osprey packs. I have a Fairview 40, a Farpoint 40 and a Porter 55, so it was only natural that I bought the Ospey backpack. This backpack has been with me everywhere from traveling in the US to hiking in Vietnam! I even use this backpack everyday to go to and from work. This is my analysis of the backpack: 1. The backpack is durable. I've had it for over a year now and the backpack is still in perfect shape even after daily use! 2. The backpack is light! This is the lightestโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Non automatic

I really like this backpack. I bought it specifically for cycling and it suits my needs perfectly. The bag itself is very light, the only part of the bag that has structural padding is the back and shoulder straps, the rest of the bag is made from lightweight but durable material. it doesn't really hold its shape so the bag looks a little wrinkled when not fully packed, but that's the price you pay for a lightweight bag. When the bag isn't packed there are some adjustable buckle straps that can

Aether 85 Attachment

I bought this as the Aether 85 Attachment as a wet pack for day hikes away from base camp. As others have commented it is a hydropack. I will not use the side pockets for water bottles. Rather, they are used for wet objects such. B. a bathing suit after swimming. Haven't tested this hydropack in the field yet but will be taking it on a week long hike. I put 4 based on first impressions. I will report later. Fastening: The buckle/hook on the Daylite fits snugly into the bottom loops of my Ether,
