Exactly what I needed!

This is your blue collar, take everything you need with you, serious nuts backpack. Buy this if you want good stuff at a good price. If you missed it, you should be pissed.

Excellent backpack suitable for luggage and travel gear

This bag is amazing. I trek to off-the-beaten-track locations to surf the east tip of Long Island. This backpack can easily handle my gear. It's well built and designed to work with a lot of gear.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

The best backpack you will ever have!

The ideal backpack for hand luggage. Just did a 15 day trip to Nepal and the backpack worked great. The rain cover also came in handy when the backpack was on the roof of the SUV in the rain. All the rags were wet, but mine was still clean and dry. Highly recommended

  • Nice thing

Less than I expected.

Undoubtedly a very nice bag. I can't argue with the looks, comfort and quality BUT this bag is a far cry from 48 liters. Not even close. It's more like 30 or 35 liters. I had 40 liter bags that held more. I'm not sure why they call it 48L. False marketing.

Very very happy with this package!

I love this set! It has the best features of my Kestral 32 and Volt 75. Great pack for long winter hikes. Lots of pockets, side zip in main compartment works great! I was able to quickly get the gear I needed when it was -10F without disrupting other content. And it's very convenient. Great package!

Great bag great customer service

Love the bag perfect for my needs. You can't go wrong with Osprey. The wrong bag was originally sent. Called backcountry support and they sorted everything out in 20 minutes. They even expedited shipping so the bag I originally ordered was at my doorstep the next day. I was upset when I received the wrong bag but accidents happen so I always appreciate a company with decent customer service. No problem buying from them again.

Sturdy backpack for short trips

I took this backpack on my first trip to New York where it worked really well! I had a raincoat, a sleeping bag (camera lining), food and water. My only issue was that I couldn't easily access the camera without going into the compartment from the top. It's not really a problem because it's not a camera bag. Other than that, I didn't really have any issues with the package. I couldn't reach my water bottle because I was holding it upright and didn't know they had a side entry for bottles! All…

Perfect day or night pack

What most attracted me to this backpack is the fact that the water bladder compartment is completely separate from the inside of the bag. You no longer have to worry about it bursting, getting wet and squeezing. It's fairly compact, so the first thing you'll want to pack is a filled hydration bladder. Otherwise, everything else feels very comfortable and stable. All the straps, pockets, zips, etc. A big fan of hip belt pockets (last pack didn't have any) and the loops on the outside let me…
